I am a game that should've been...

Team Shockers forfeited its first game in two seasons yesterday...totally out of our control, we just didn't have enough people to start and one of our girls that were late had a family emergency. (btw - the lady that runs the thing was so nice at first and then was a total beyotch when we forfeited). Can't say it diidn't frustrate me though, even though we totally play for fun, it's hard not to let it get to me...sometimes I wish I wasn't so competitive...but we got to scrimmage and it was a lot of fun...i hit my first career home run, woohoo! Now I just really gotta work on my pitching. I really really do. But I've found a solution to our lack of players problem, so we'll be okay for the rest of the season. Good to know we can hang w/ these teams...as soon as I shore up my pitching.

This week is already shaping up to be quite an active week. Softball today, basketball tomorrow, gonna start hitting the gym again on wednesday, and then softball practice, basketball tourney, and softball game on the weekend...krikey, I better watch out...

Anyway, here's to another week! hope it goes by quickly...how sad is it that I get so excited for weekends to come and don't really appreciate the rest of the week...i should though...but it was like that back in school too...
